Alusia was wandering slowly back to where the team had been when she had ran away, where Mr. Brisyen had died. She didn't want to go there, but that is where her family was, and she didn't want to be alone in this cold, white land. She saw a large dirt circle far in the distance, but didn't know what it was. It lay in the direction she was traveling, though, and so maybe she would go investigate. She scented Stern's familiar odor on the wind, as well as that of the rest of the team, although somewhat more muted. They might be sleeping, huddled under the snow, she thought.
Stern looked up as a small speck appeared in the distance. The wind was blowing towards the object, but it seemed to be coming ever closer, so it couldn't be anything too bad. She glanced at where Blue was laying, trying to see if he had noticed the approaching animal as well.

Cold eyes staring at the object in front of him, the weaker one that has strayed from the group Mouse let his hackles raise. A husky was in front of him. A lone husky. Hunger gnawed the the youngster's stomach making it growl and making the dogs mouth water as he curled his lip back in a silent snarl and crept closer and closer to the oblivious animal. The dog was older than him, but was limping. Mouse wasn't sure if it gave him an advantage but it was worth a try, and maybe just maybe if he managed to kill the elder one he woukd satisfy his endless hunger for a little while. Poisoning his muscles the male jumped and landed squarely onto the other dogs back, aiming for the hurt paw the males jaws locked around it, his eyes fierce and his teeth clenched. He heard yelp from the other males jaws so he bit down harder.
Scenting the air Blue was about to stand, when he got leaped on and surprised by a younger male. A ferel by the stench of him. Whining and yelling at the younger male but down on his hurt paw Blue tried to yank it free.

Stern saw a wolf like creature seem to rise up out of the ashes and jump at Blue. She stood and started racing towards him, ready to fight whatever was attacking him. She didn't think about how he would feel about her coming to his rescue, she forgot about the black speck coming towards them, all that was on her mind was, FIGHT! She reached Blue and sprang at the creature, her teeth locking around its tail.
Alusia had just seen a glimpse of Stern when the older dog stood and rushed away, towards the big dirt circle. Without stopping to consider what was going on, Alusia followed, but she stopped when she reached the circle, for it was ash, not dirt. Then she saw Blue and Stern ahead, grappling with another creature. She paced along the edge of the circle, not knowing whether to go forward or to stay back.

Snarling, wild eyed at the female who had now appeared from no where considerably the feral male spun round, snarling. Blood dripping from his teeth and mouth. Sapping at the female he narrowed his eyes as he felt some more stomach pains and hunger coming up in his stomach in waves. Leaping at the female Mluse got blown off his feet and hit the rock nearby snarling. The first dog, the male had barged into him, and was standing over him tall. Snarling Mouse leaped up and locked paws with the first male and biting down on it again, this time however the other male bit down on Mouse's ear, pulling it and trying to rip it. It didn work. "Is it bad to be hungry?"Mouse snarled, his voice cold.
Blue snarled, his upper lip curling back over his dagger like teeth. Blue didn't care, whether he lived or died. He cared nor for himself but for the team. From the looks of the ferel he was hungry, pitifully hungry and young. To young.

Stern looked down at the dog. She wasn't sure what had just happened, but still, she was still breathing, and so was Blue. "It isn't bad to be hungry, but it isn't the best choice to attack a dog that has a larger team behind him than you do. Especially if that team is watching him." She looked down at the feral dog. He was so young, too young to be out here all alone, "Why are you alone anyway?" She moved forward and with a simple push, pushed the feral onto his side, away from blue. With two paws, she pinned him down, keeping him from jumping up.
Alusia watched to goings on with wide eyes, still torn between loyalty to the team and fear of the weird footing.

Capricorn came running up the hill a small white rabbit hanging from her jaws. Excitement filled her brown eyes. She was halfway up the hill when she heard the snarling and growling. Picking up her speed she ran over the tip of the hill and ran straight to Stern. She dropped the arctic rabbit at Alusia's paws and looked at the feral dog. "What's going on?" She looked at the young dog and felt pity for him. Picking up the rabbit she dropped it buy his paws. "You need this more than us by the looks of it. I caught it out of pure luck but who knows I might be able to catch another one." She smiled softly and nudged the rabbit closer. "Don't worry you can trust me." Yea she didn't know the dog, and yea they where all hungry. But this dog was starving. He needed it more than they did. Maybe they could befriend him?

The young male snarled at the two females and at the male, especially seems as he was most likely the biggest threat. "Why do you care? If i tell you my name, you'll laugh at me! Like all they others did. They taught me, so I killed them. And I do not need you're pity!" Mouse snarled holding his head up high, his almost translucent White eyes shining with defiance. Staring at the rabbit with hungry eyes however Mouse shrugged. He supposed it wouldn't be that bad that bad once. Narrowing his eyes Mouse opened his mouth "I'm alone because I was abandoned as a pup, before I could walk. I was abandoned in the forest- raised by wolves and given the name Mouse" Mouse snarled.
Blue blinked, and suddenly felt rather sorry for the young dog. Wolves had obviously turned him this way, wild and defiant and if they didn't he would most likely be a great dog. A handsome young chap with a shining coat instead of a filthy dirty one and would most likely be ever so nice. Studying the make pup Blue frowned, he looked different. Odd. It was almost like he was a Siberian but he had the traits of a Greenland, a German Shepard and some of a Marmalute in him. As well as looking completely feral and wolflike. The eyes made Blue cringe. The White eyes. In all of his years Blue had never seen a dog with White eyes. It was bizare! Padding forwards Blue rested his shoulder on Sterns flank. "Let him go" He murmured.

Stern growled at Capricorn. The presumptuous pup, acting without permission or even asking first. She didn't say anything to her, though, but kept the wolf dog pinned down until she felt Blue's shoulder against her flank and his words in her ear. Ten she stepped back and considered the pup in front of her. He wasn't a wolf, she could see that now. More, he looked like a dog, a mixture of many breeds, but still. His fur was just dirty and looked like a wolf's, which would account for the confusion. As he told them his name, she didn't laugh, "There is no reason to laugh about names. They are all given for a reason." She felt a stab of pity for the dog, now. She looked at the rabbit, then stepped back another pace, "Please, eat."

Capricorn saw the look on Sterns face and flattened her ears. Her tail tucked between her legs. She wouldn't apologize. She wasn't sorry the puppy was practically skin and bones. He needed the food so much more than them. Once Stern let him up she padded forward and pushed the rabbit closer. "Yes please eat. It is freshly killed still warm. Capricorn looked at Blue hoping he would say she had done the right thing. But she saw nothing. Turning back to mouse she smiled. "I'm Capricorn I like your name. It isn't bad at all. And why in the world would we laugh? None of us chooses our names.

Mouse narrowed his almost translucent White eyes at the adults around him, before gulping down the hare, in a matter of seconds. He was starved and as he felt the warm fresh of the recently dead animal slide down his throat he smiled. Then frowned again. "Everyone else does. Laugh a my name. Say it's weka. Say it's small. Mouse. Pah. Everyone else has names lie Bear, Poseidon. Blood. Death. Panic. Fear. I'm stuck with Mouse" He barked curling up his upper lip and shaking his dirty pelt.
Blue glanced a Capricorn. "Thank you Capricorn. You're generosity is kind" Blue murmured smiling at the pretty female dog and lifting his head from Stern. Padding forwards and sniffing the young pup, Blue watched his every move in case he tried to attack again. It appeared that by now the fight and will in the youngster had left him. Giving the males pelt a small lick Blue saw a patch of cleaner fur, which was a considerably lighter shade than that of wolfs. Also, the young dogs tail was half curled half straight. Sort of like a Siberians.

Stern watched the others talking to the dog, feeling detached. She still didn't trust him, but it didn't seem that he would attack again. She looked around to see if any other dogs were awake and noticed Alusia standing at the edge of the circle of the bomb's damage. She beckoned the pup closer with a wave of her tail.
Alusia saw Stern wave her over and nodded, hurrying to comply. She felt closest to the lead dog of the team than she had to her own mother. She moved to stand beside her idol, watching the wolf dog creature that had attacked Blue.

Capricorn nodded she could understand. "That's rough, but don't worry. I promise I'll never laugh at you. I was raised better. My momma always told me to be kind to all no matter how they treat you." She watched as he quickly ate the rabbit. She was glad that she had gotten here when she did.
Hearing Blue's compliment she turned and smiled. "Thank you, I'm glad you think I did the right thing. It is in my nature to be that way. My mother would be disappointed if I acted other wise." Capricorn looked at stern and lowered her head. She had a feeling like she didn't like what she had done.
