I'm only {7 years} from you. So leave a {female} alone .
NAME . Tercora ((Terry))
PRONUNCIATION . Tear-soar-ah
TEAM OR FERAL team, please.
BREED . Seppala Siberian Sleddog
APPEARANCE . Like most dogs of her breed, Terry is very light weight at 42 pounds, and most of her 22 inches of height is due to her long legs. Even the very erect ears and the saber shaped tail that curls just slightly up when she's alert is very typical for her breed. In fact, there's not much about her that's unique at all.
Her pelt is a plain white, though by trick of light and filth it can have a tanner appearance. Her nose is a light brown, almost pink in color, which only seems to make her look even more washed out then she already is. Her eyes are probably the only dark thing about her...well... at least the only dark thing about her appearance.
PERSONALITY . Terry doesn't actually hate anyone, nor does she like anyone. She really just doesn't care. Sure, she rarely, if ever, trusts anyone, but she doesn't hate them. Doesn't hold grudges. To hate someone, to hold a grudge, you have to actually think it's important in the first place, and she doesn't.
Because of this attitude, Terry does not make friends. No, she makes acquaintances, people she knows, will talk to, and has to put up with. She will work with them, but she will not trust them. She will talk to them, but she will not share any ideas or secrets to them. She will hang out with them, but not play. She will listen to them, but she won't encourage the conversation.
Terry does not trust anyone to hold up their end of any deal, yet, if she knows someone is depending on her, she will do her best fulfilling her own end without question. However, without trust, she usually will think solely about what's best for her, not the team. After all, who cares if all the other dog's on her team die, so long as she survives? Not Tercora.
HISTORY . Tercora was born in the kennel of a breeder who prided himself on his beautiful long-legged dogs. She was supposed to be a good show dog, and her owner trained her and her siblings almost continuously in obedience. However, as she neared a year, it became apparent that Terry would not be as tall as the breeder liked, and her pelt would always be a dull white, and not the beautiful buff and white collar that he loved. So with that, she was sold to a different kennel.
The second kennel was more driven to the trails. She was at first trained to pull an empty sled around, and the commands to turn left, right, go faster, slow down, and stop where drilled into her when she was taking walks. Having been trained for shows when she was a small puppy, Terry picked up quickly on the commands, and was at first meant to be a lead dog. However, Terry did not do so well in the lead. The main issue was that she simply would not run, even if the musher shouted the command to go till his face turned blue. That was not the only problem, though. Her disconnection from the team, and complete lack of interest in enforcing her position off the lead created problems among the other dogs being unwilling to listen when she was running lead anyway. So despite learning all of the commands, she was banned from ever being in a lead position, and was trained to act as either a swing, team, or wheel dog.
She was six when she was bought by the Mr. Brisyen and was made to work as part of his team. While she had to admit he was a good owner, and she enjoyed being one of his dogs, she was not as attached to him as the other dogs of the team, and when he was shot, she did hardly more then lay down in her spot. Only because it is necessary to live does she stick near the rest of the team.
OTHER . ( anything else? )regeln
The stars a line to bring me into view .
