I'm only four years from you. So leave a girl alone .
NAME . Calla
PRONUNCIATION . Cal-la
TEAM OR FERAL Stray
BREED . Utonagan
APPEARANCE .
Calla stands true to her Utonagan blood lines and strongly resembles that of a wolf. She is average sized which is slightly larger than the average dog and has a strong but not heavy build. Her longer muzzle is filled with sharpened row of teeth, pointed from constant use; her nose is a pitch black with a small scar traveling from the bridge of her muzzle to her nose. Her eyes are surrounded by tan and have a splotch of white on the brown. Her eyes are almond shaped and a bright amber colour that can glow eerily in the darkness, they have a tendency to change shades depending on the season. In the winder her eyes more orange tint while in the summer her eyes have a more yellow shade. Her eyes are rather small and soft, and the right ear is ripped. Calla’s body is very streamline and stream line with taunt muscle carefully hidden beneath the thick double coat of fur. Her paws are webbed and are missing dewclaws on her hind legs. Her tail is rather feathery and tipped with the slightest amount of black fur. Calla’s coat’s base colour is dark brown colour with tan shoulders, hindquarters and upper legs. Her lower limbs are completely white along with her tail, under belly, neck, jaw and muzzle. Calla is over all made for endurance with a slight affinity for swimming.
PERSONALITY . Calla is a very calm soul, she has long since left her excitable and energetic days behind her in favour of a very level-headed, stubborn dog she is today. The one thing she values above everything else is her own freedom. She hates to be trapped emotionally, mentally and especially physically; and if she were to ever be trapped she can turn aggressive very quickly. She almost has a restlessness about her that takes her from land to land, always on the move and never staying in one place for very long. Calla's greatest personality strength is her cool intelligence; her ability to plan ahead and never panic even if the odds are against her. With this cool head comes a rather cold personality, but really she loves to socialize with other dogs and misses her family deeply. Calla has very strong mothering instincts and will selflessly protect a pup with her life.
HISTORY . Calla was born as a pure breed Utonagan in the far northern reaches of Victoria Island, Canada. Her family consisted of her mother Freya, her father Silas and only brother Maverick. The small dog family were apart of the RCMP and were used as sled dogs. As Calla grew up, she was discovered to have a gift for tracking and soon became one of the top dogs at the RCMP because she would be able to easily track down just about anything. When she was 2 years old, the RCMP building she lived in with her family was burnt to the ground in a accident. Panicked, Calla fled the building and escaped into the wilderness, never knowing that would be the last time she would ever see her family.
Calla was lost for days before she was found once again by an elderly man who worked at a game sanctuary. He took Calla back home and taught her how to round caribou, protect the reserve against wolves and foxes, track game and even how to swim. Calla stayed with this man for an entire year before she felt an inexplicable need to leave. So she did. She strayed into Alaska and decided to make that land her home until she felt the need to move on.
OTHER . She has this odd lingering scent of smoke and fire
The stars a line to bring me into view .
